Self-taught Perl programmer since 2000 (or so). Currently employed as "Perl Programmer" (we'll ignore the fact that IT renamed me to "IT Solutions Developer") at Sophos plc. in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Maintaining a whole bunch of stuff that supports the websites, plus an ecommerce system.
